Our Mission

To actualize Pan-Africanism by developing, implementing and propagating a successful model for a unified local Pan African community, comprised of organizations that share the goal of creating a way of life based on an African identity that precedes both chattel slavery and colonialism, that rejects domination of African people by others; to insure our collective identity and facilitate our ability to pursue our collective self interest; and to link the local Pan-African community with other Pan-African communities all over the world.

Through this process, UBC will address the power differential between African people and other peoples in the world, making it possible for African people to act collectively with dignity and sovereignty.
